The Timekeeper Pavilion
The Timekeeper proposes an event pavilion that celebrates time’s linear progression and the transfer of energy from generation to generation to unfold the site’s rich history and prospective future.
Visitors become representatives of energy itself as they circulate in, and around, the pavilion and existing structures—ultimately generating an experience that encourages visitors to reflect on their own transfer of energy and the ways they interact with the world around them.
The orientation, materiality, and user journey work cooperatively to leave visitors curious, inspired, and humbled by the natural progression of time and the endless possibilities of change and growth.
